Interactive Touch Walls

Touch walls are a possible way of learning for example for schools, offices, reminders or telivision for your home and much more. We want to build the future little by little by trying to make this dream a reaility. Imagine a computer on your wall. Zooming in and reaserching everything for all to see. Touching the places, having the world in your hands. A smart and easier way to keep track of everything and also with siri technology. Voice activated organization all in a snap.


My group was thinking about multiple ways to make touch walls possible such as:
Making it voice activated like Siri tecghlology by Apple inc. or even putting a lot of smart tablets (iPads, galexy tabs, etc.) on a wall. On the other hand you can touch with your fingers like an iPad or us a pen like a mimio. We can do alot of ways to make touch walls possible all over the world. Think of all the possibilities we can do with touch wall technology.


REASERCH TOPIC (SIRI SOFTWARE BY APPLE INC.)
Siri is an intelligent personal assistant and knowledge navigator which works as an application for Apple's iOS. The application uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services. Apple claims that the software adapts to the user's individual preferences over time and personalizes results, and performing tasks such as finding recommendations for nearby restaurants, or getting directions.
Siri was originally introduced as an iOS application available in the App Store by Siri Inc. Siri Inc. was acquired by Apple on April 28, 2010. Siri Inc. had announced that their software would be available for BlackBerry and for Android-powered phones, but all development efforts for non-Apple platforms were cancelled after the aquisition by Apple.
Siri is now an integral part of iOS 5, and available only on the iPhone 4S, launched on October 4, 2011. Despite this, hackers were able to adapt Siri in prior iPhones. On November 8, 2011, Apple publicly announced that it had no plans to support Siri on any of its older devices.

mimio is something we used in my old school. the white board is the computer that we use with a pen. It's used for a lot of different classes like history/geography, spanish, math, english, etc. You can tap on the answer with a pen, draw en example, writing you work on the computer board, and interact with places on the board like google maps.
